Quinoa Phirnee Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup quinoa
- 1 teaspoon powdered green cardamom
- 1/2 tablespoon ghee
- 2 cup milk
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 tablespoon khoya
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron
For Garnishing :
- 2 sliced & slit almonds
- 6 pieces blueberry
- 2 sliced & slit pistachios
For The Main Dish :
- 3/4 cup sugar-free pellets
- 2 cup boiled skimmed milk

Step 1
To prepare this easy dessert recipe, heat ghee in a saucepan and add quinoa to it. Roast the quinoa till it becomes light brown.

Then boil water and add it to the roasted quinoa. Bring the quinoa mixture to a boil.

While the water is reduced to half, boil milk on another burner, and when it's hot, add the water and then add saffron strands to it.

Let the quinoa and milk mixture come to a boil. Reduce the flame and let it simmer for 7-8 minutes till perfectly cooked.

Add sugar-free pellets along with cardamom powder. Stir well and cook.

Then add condensed milk in it and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.

Turn off the flame, garnish it with sliced almonds, pistachios, and blueberries. Serve it hot or cold, as you may like.
