Keto Poha Recipe

Poha is a delicious and nutritious meal that is perfect as a breakfast or a snack. But when you are on a Keto diet, you cannot actually eat the flattened rice (poha) which is the main ingredient of the dish. How about making poha with a twist for all the Keto lovers out there. This recipe includes chopped cauliflower and cabbage, which replicates the texture of poha and serves the purpose well.

  • Step 1 Saute onions and spices

    Heat olive oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, asafoetida, dry red chilli and curry leaves. Let them splutter for a minute. Now, add onions and let them saute for 1-2 minutes.

  • Step 2 Add the veggies

    Now add grated cauliflower, turmeric and salt. Mix well. Add water and let it boil once.

  • Step 3 Add diced cauliflower

    Now add finely diced cabbage and mix well. Lastly, add roasted peanuts and lemon juice.

  • Step 4 Garnish and serve
