Ingredients:

200gram Gram Flour (Besan)

Salt ( As Per Test)

1tp Spoon Black Peper Powder

1tp Spoon Carom Seeds

1/2tp Spoon Asafoetida powder
-
1/2tp Spoon Turmeric
-
2tp Spoon Oil
-
1/4tp Spoon Cooking Soda

Water ( As Per Needed)

Oil ( For Fry)

200 ગ્રામ ચણાનો લોટ

મીઠું (સ્વાદ અનુસાર)

1 ચમચી બ્લેક પેપર પાવડર

1 ચમચી અજમો

1/2 ચમચી હીંગ પાવડર

1/2 ચમચી હળદર

2 ચમચી તેલ
-
1/4 ચમચી રસોઈ સોડા

પાણી (જરૂર મુજબ)

તેલ (તળવા માટે)
Serve fafda warm or at room temperature with some fried green chilies, raw papaya sambaro, and besan chutney. You can also serve with Gujarati besan kadhi.
Notes:

Firstly, knead the besan dough really smooth and soft.

Also, make sure to rest the dough for at least 30 minutes, else the fafda won't turn crispy.

finally, Gujarati fafda can be stored in an airtight container for a week and served as required.
