Ingredients:
Recipe :
-
Step 1 Pre-heat the oven, mix eggs and butter
Pre-heat the oven at 180-degree celsius on convection mode. Meanwhile, take a glass bowl and beat butter, egg and caster sugar in it until light and fluffy.
-
Step 2 Sieve dry ingredients and add wet ingredients
Now sieve the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder in another bowl. Add milk, chocolate chips and dark chocolate and combine it with the egg mixture. Mix all the ingredients together and knead a soft dough.
-
Step 3 Cut out cookies and place them in a greased tray
Now, roll the dough and cut into cookies with the help of a biscuit cutter. If you don’t have the cutter, simply roll out small balls from the dough. Pierce them with the help of a fork to make an impression. You can also embed more chocolate chips over each cookie if you prefer. Place the biscuits at least 5 cms apart, giving enough spaces for expansion on a greased tray. Bake the cookies at 180-degree celsius for 20–25 minutes on the lower rack till golden brown.
-
Step 4 Serve with tea or milk
Once ready, allow them to cool at room temperature. Store in an air-tight container. Serve with tea, coffee, or milk!
Tips :
-
You can also use melted dark chocolate if you cannot find dark chocolate powder.
-
If you do not like your cookies too sweet, use salted butter instead for a more balanced flavour.
-
You can also use an equal combination of white and light brown sugar in this recipe.
