  • Step 1 Preheat oven to 180 degrees C

    Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Line a baking tray with a baking sheet and set aside. Take oil, sugar, vanilla essence in a bowl and mix well.

  • Step 2 Prepare the cookie dough

    Now, add flour, baking soda, salt and combine well to form a dough. Add milk to make a smooth dough.

  • Step 3 Make cookies and bake them

    Scoop up a small portion with a tablespoon and roll it out and flatten it out. Arrange the raw cookies on a baking tray and bake for 10 to 12 mins depending on their size.

  • Step 4 Let the cookies cool down and store them

    Remove from the oven. Remove cookies from the tray and let them cool on a cooling rack. Then, transfer in an airtight container.

Tips :

  • You can cut out the cookies in any shape that you like using a cookie cutter. If you prefer simple round cookies, use a sharp-edged bowl or glass.

  • Always use melted butter for this recipe. However, do not add heated melted butter. Let the melted butter come at room temperature before adding to the dough.
