  • Step 1

    To prepare the paste, take a blender jar and add cashew, chiraunji, coconut and red onion in it. Blend the mixture to form a smooth paste. Transfer the paste to a small bowl and keep it aside.

  • Step 2

    Take a chopping board and thinly chop onions and coriander leaves, separately. Now, take a non-stick pan, add ghee in it and heat it over medium flame. Add chopped onions, ginger paste and garlic paste to it. Mix the ingredients well and stir-fry till the onions turn glossy and translucent.

  • Step 3

    Add chicken drumsticks along with curd in this pan and cook it over medium flame, till oil starts to leave the sides of the pan. Season well with red chili powder, turmeric and coriander powder. Mix the ingredients well and saute till the drumsticks are slightly cooked.

  • Step 4

    Sprinkle salt and pour the smooth nut paste over chicken drumsticks. Add water and cook over medium flame. Once drumsticks are perfectly cooked, sprinkle garam masala and lemon juice over it. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
