Meetha Pooda Recipe
If you happen to know any Punjabi, you would have definitely heard of meetha pooda or meetha chilla prepared on special occasions and festivals. Enjoyed as a dessert mostly, Punjabis treat this dish as their breakfast in the summers and winters alike.

Step 1
To make this meetha pooda recipe, take a dough kneading plate and sift the whole wheat or wholemeal flour along with sugar, fennel seeds, and salt. Then, add water as per the need and make a thin batter until the sugar is dissolved completely.

Now, heat a little ghee in a non-stick pan on medium flame and pour a ladleful of the flour batter and spread it slightly. Cook on one side until the base is golden brown and flip it to cook the other side as well. Similarly, cook other poodas as well with the remaining batter.

Once all the poodas are cooked, transfer a pooda to a plate and garnish with chopped almonds and enjoy! (Note: You can also garnish with your choice of nuts.)
