  • Step 1 Prepare the shortcrust dough

    To make this delectable dessert recipe, mix together the all purpose flour, icing sugar, and the butter. Sprinkle some cold water to form the shortcrust dough.

  • Step 2 Bake the pie for 25 minutes at 180 degree Celsius

    Warm the cream and mix together all the ingredients except the mango cubes. Line the flan ring with the shortcrust dough, place the cut mangoes and fill the pie mix. Bake at 180 degree Celsius for about 25 minutes until it sets and the crust has a brown colour.

  • Step 3 Chill the pie for 2 hours and prepare the Berry Basil Salsa

    Chill for at least 2 hours. Mix together the cubes of mango and berry compote with sugar and finish with chopped basil. Serve chilled or warm with salsa and garnish with a fresh basil leaf.
