Ingredients:

For Dressing :

  • 1 silver eating foil

Recipe :

  • Step 1

    Blend the cashews in a mixer grinder till they turn into a coarse powder.

  • Step 2

    Now sieve the powdered cashews to ensure that there is no lump.

  • Step 3

    Mix sugar and khoya in a separate bowl.

  • Step 4

    Transfer the sugar-khoya mixture into a pan. Add 1/2 cup water and stir for 5 minutes. Eventually, sugar gets dissolved and the mixture gets thickened.

  • Step 5

    Add in cardamom powder, ghee, and powdered cashews into it. Stir continuously to form a smooth paste.

  • Step 6

    Don't overcook if you want to keep the fudge softer.

  • Step 7

    Transfer the mixture to a big plate or tray. Roll out evenly using a rolling pin. Make sure that the fudge is thick enough while rolling it.

  • Step 8

    Now grease it using a teaspoon of ghee and apply edible silver foil on it. (This step is completely optional)

  • Step 9

    Cut into diamond shapes and your cashew fudge is ready to be served.
